ATV tires represent another difficult category of tires to change and repair. The are designed to hold on to the rim very tightly at very low pressure and therefore they require specialize equipment and trained people to change and repair this class of tire. Another challenge presented by ATV tires is that because they are built very thinly in order to give maximum traction and flotation under very extreme conditions, it requires specially built repair materials and tubes to make them hold air after they have been damaged.
